Friday-morning check-in:

What do you have planned for the weekend? No doubt it's been a busy week. How are you going to pull yourself back to centre?


We used to take weekends as they came, and not in the emotionally responsible way. We would have kids play dates, family visits, and run errands we didn't have time for during the week. We didn't make one self-motivated choice. The weekends felt "short" because at the end of it we would realise we didn't rest, again.


Make a change today. Choose one thing today that you will do this weekend, either for yourself, or with the family, or both! Why not both! It'll feel strange in the beginning if you haven't done this before. It may even not happen this weekend. But next Friday do the same thing and plan better around it.
